Fond greetings sorors and friends,

Welcome to the website for the Virginia Beach Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. also known as VBAC and Beach Deltas.  I am honored and humbled to serve as the President of this prestigious chapter. Chartered in 1982, I greet you as the chapter's 14th President, elected during our Ruby Year of Celebration. This site showcases a wealth of information of the sorority's varied programs and services in the Virginia Beach community. We are a membership of 170 Visionary, Bold, Action-oriented and Charitable women, working together and advocating for the citizens of Virginia Beach. 

Virginia Beach Alumnae Chapter is multi-generational. Through the many professional, personal, and educational talents shared by our members, the chapter’s programs and projects are designed to address the needs, concerns and issues identified within the community through implementing public service initiatives focusing on Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Five-Point Programmatic Thrust.

  • International Awareness and Involvement

  • Physical and Mental Health

  • Political Awareness and Involvement.

Since its inception, the chapter has been a constant source of service and support to the residents of Virginia Beach. VBAC has partnered with many organizations while implementing its programs and projects. The chapter welcomes the opportunity to combine our collective efforts, through our shared values, with other organizations in order to have a greater impact in the community. In the spirit of our beloved Founders, and in alignment with our National leadership, VBAC will continue to move forward with fortitude and elevate our voices  and along with our South Atlantic Region leadership postured in Sincere Sisterhood, Exceeding Excellence and Embracing Empowerment, we are bringing about the progress that will better our community.  This membership of 127 dynamic DELTA women thanks you for visiting our website and invites you to join us in our focus to Sow Enrichment with Resolve and Vision in Excellence (SERVE).
